Pros

Leadership is always listening, exploring, and trying new ideas. They review different tools to help the team succeed or different processes to make sure we do our jobs to the best of our ability. They also consider everyone's input and make data driven decisions. They don't micromanage employees. You are given the freedom to autonomously manage your own business with the full time support you need when you have questions. We also have flexibility to work remotely which really helps with the commute as well as building trust among the team. The perks have always been awesome. Whether that's a ton of snacks in the office or adding to employee benefits like a 401k Match or cash bonuses. The team is always planning fun company outings, trips or volunteer events. But most of all...everyone cares. Everyone wants to contribute to the Greater Seattle Community in a bigger and more positive way every day. No one is at Fuel Talent just to punch the clock. Everyone truly values relationships and the people they work with.

Cons

Check back with me! The company is growing and with growth it is natural for gaps to develop. At this phase, with a proactive team, everything is going so well and changes are being made to adapt with that growth!

Pros

They are professionally run, they helped place me at Alaska Airlines. They were very upfront on the interview process, both on their side of things as well as the contracting company (Alaska Airlines). The recruiter was very friendly and kept in touch during my entire tenure with the company. Benefits: No PTO, sick time was state mandated minimum, 401K after 1 year, 3 days PTO after 1 year. Medical was OK, a bit on the expensive side.

Cons

Not very involved after initial placement. Several of my colleagues tried negotiating raises and Fuel made it clear they do not communicate with our managers after the initial hiring. Heavy push back on raises, even for engineers who hadn't received them in several years and were comparatively grossly underpaid.
