Pros
- Lunch Catered Occasionally - If you're "in" with management, they will like and you'll be treated great! - To be "in" with management, you pretty much have to tow the line, never speak up, no matter how badly the direction the company is going, and accept that you are making annoying apps & software that will never be used or be successful in the marketplace.
Cons
- Low pay, extremely long hours - the "marketing" head knows nothing about marketing. He is also the "head of development", who knows nothing about Agile development or how to build successful apps that people will actually use. The pivotal part this guy plays in direction is frustratingly bizarre. - Heads of departments get ahead by suggesting new features that get stuffed in anyway possible, but yet contribute nothing to a user base. Look in the "product graveyard" for examples. - you will watch this company spend huge $$ to product apps that will never make a dime. In the meantime your pay sucks for loooong hours. It's a bit depressing.
