Pros

Bragging Rights... if you're into that kinda thing. It's produced some graduates that are in the Entertainment Industry.

Cons

Where to start? They pay a non-negotiable $14/hr no matter how many years of experience or college you have under your belt. You get to be micromanaged by washed-up former Admissions Guides turned Team Leads who have drank the Full Sail Kool-Aid far too long they have no sense of reality or the outside world. They create a wonderful façade when you get hired on that Full Sail is a magical place where dreams come true. But in reality, every STUDENT is a LEAD and they want you to pull every trick in the SALES book to get them to apply. Check out Consumer Reports at the bottom of their webpage. This school is garbage.

Pros

Great work environment, Great support from leadership, great work culture, great benefits, decent salary. This is a job where you can stay for 20+ years. There is a lot of room for growth, the leadership is generally very supportive, and the benefits are great. The work culture is very inclusive and supportive. You are treated with respect and consideration; you're not just a payroll number. I have worked in three different roles in 2 years (hired for the first one, volunteered for the other two), and I am very happy in my position. I have worked some lousy, stressful corporate jobs in the past (and this ISN"T one of them). I am very thankful I found this job.

Cons

None so far. I have heard people complain about their jobs; but compared to what's out there, this company is a GREAT place to work. Full Sail is a place where you get out of it what you put in.

Pros

1) Still some good people that work for the company at management and lower levels 2) compensation average to below average 3) diversity and inclusion 4) not a bottom of the barrel company where you get openly disrespected 5) facilities are kept clean

Cons

1) Micromanaging. Be prepared for frequent coaching opportunities (daily) and one-on-ones bi-weekly. Company using AI to review calls and comb through workflow to find mistakes. You won't get away with anything. 2) High turnover which got substantially worse in 2025 and only got worse in 2026 3) If management doesn't like you they will target you with coaching ops so they have a case to fire you. 4) HR changes implemented in 2026 to make it easier for company to fire people via 3 strike rule 5) Favoritism. You can only move up if management likes you. People have been promoted with no interview processes. 6) Nepotism. Husband is director of department and wife is just two positions below him with one unlucky soul in between to separate them. 7) most, not all, management is in their 20s and 30s and their experience and maturity shows. 8) Depending on department you work for schedule is very strict. For example, Academic Advisors are required to work 3 on campus schedules from 9 a.m. - either 5:30 p.m. or 6 p.m. depending on length of lunch break. You work 2 work from home shifts and one of them has to be from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Required to work one Saturday shift a month from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Due to that shift only being 6 hours you have to make up 2 hours during that week by taking 30 minute lunch on a day where you work until 6 p.m. If you need a lot of personal schedule flexibility you might need to look at being instructor, but even then the most lenient department is Psychology. Other teaching departments may not be lenient with schedule. 9) If you work in any student facing position it will be a call center environment. 10) Be prepared to work with students that honestly should not be in college especially online. half joking, but it honestly seems like the school camps out at homeless shelters, nursing homes, and VA funding to recruit students. but yet we're supposed to try to keep all of them enrolled. School is very proprietorial when it comes to enrollment. 10) If you do end up working for Full Sail in 2026 be prepared to see people steadily leave as many employees still looking to jump ship.
