Pros
the other staff aside from the owners and their family are great. shared suffering makes an excellent community. you make money while looking for any other job
Cons
the owners are unworkable and will fire you for any reason they see fit. hours are extremely inconsistent and they'll short you in payments. the business model is predatory at best and targets parents by selling gambling to kids. over the last year they have been raising their prices well past what inflation would affect. they intentionally hire students to get cheaper labor and then cut their hours when they get remotely close to turning 18. the last 3 months I worked there I was given one 4 and a half hour shift every Saturday as my only shift each week. I was unable to pick up more shifts as my access to the app used for scheduling was limited. There was no notice or reason given so I quit as many before me had. the turnover rate for staff at Funhaven is high enough that training staff is almost useless. I have nothing good to say about the owners as they are the main reason for these issues.
