Pros

A slight chance to get free stuff, which is still dwindling away.

Cons

I work in the warehouse and I am not the only one that feels this way, I'm sure. They work the warehouse staff like work mules. Constant mandatory overtime. I worked more weekends this year, than I had off. Unrealistic expectations of fulfilling orders. Bragging about the company being a multi million dollar company yet the ones that are putting the product out the door to make the company make that much money, are being paid nothing and being over worked. No appreciation for anything that the staff does. There's an obvious divide between the office and sales. They, on my occasions have messed up on our pay, which is unacceptable considering the amount of overtime the entire staff has put in. This place is garbage, it costs cents to make the toys, yet they make 800 percent more on the product and keep the money for themselves.

Pros

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Cons

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
