Good company - Ophthalmic Technician Furlong Vision Correction Employee Review

Very family oriented company. They spend a lot of time on training, which increases the quality of work and service you can give to patients. I’ve learned a lot about ophthalmology within just a couple of months in, more than I ever learned from any other office I’ve worked at. The doctors are very easy to work with. I also love the fact that they care a lot about the patients and actually listen to their needs.

None that I can think of!

The pay is decent. The coworkers work together. Coworker are nice. Lots of educational is provide in the BSM training system.

Management is rude, very clicky (they have favorites), and are not always around for proper training . It is hard to become part of the team because very hard on new employees while on first 90 days. It is difficult getting trained because there are too many different trainers wanting you to do as they do exactly and criticize everything you do making so unsure of yourself . No breaks even though they said you can take a break it never happens and then question you of you take a bathroom break. If you are new you get the grunt work before being able to move up which take a year or more to advance in some areas are of the practice.
