Pros

spent almost 4 years here, gained some knowledge and skills while setting some company performance records. Was promised a lot from upper management, but they always fell short or took longer than planned. I managed to survive the 4 years, and made some money, but was ALWAYS unsure if I'd have a job next week!!

Cons

spent almost 4 years here, weekly and monthly threats of being fired the whole time. Even with that much time in, and the best numbers in the company for what I was doing and in charge of, still knew(had seen it happen many times) there was NO security in my job here. The owner is VERY reactionary, sometimes firing people just to show action or threaten others instead of working with or getting to the real problem. A lot of "politic's" going on in company and with upper management.

Pros

Vans are in ok condition, good starter company for those new to solar

Cons

- They rely heavily on pencil and paper for time tracking. They do not have Outlook or Google Calendar for schedules, and time off was a hassle because we had to run a form between cubicles instead of using a simplified payroll app. - We also had less independence. Services couldn’t just work without someone hovering over them. - The current solar system generac they’re hawking is pretty bad and is difficult to troubleshoot compared to enphase, tesla, and soleredge (Generac is like the betamax or laserdisc of solar systems) - And the management is incredibly frugal to the point of insanity. -no paid lunches -no weekly pay -micromanagers in the office call you every hour checking the vehicle’s gps -they cram three people into a van despite having plenty of vehicles -non-existent diversity
