Pros
I have been with this company many years. Amazing benefits...esop, 401k, many paid holidays, working parents are not penalized for missing work for their kids. I Love what I do for this company and will retire from here if allowed to do so.
Cons
The pay is extremely low for the type of precision work and dedication they require of employees. Overtime is required, mandatory and expected every single week (going on for many many years now) with zero mind to staff exhaustion. Promises are made by new management and not kept. Experienced employees with seniority are no longer heard and seen as obstacles, we are labeled negative if we don’t love the new lean 6 sigma agenda being forced down every throat even if it’s been proven some of these ideas do not work. New management has employees doing their own reviews which makes absolutely NO sense and the review questions have little to nothing to do with your actual performance. Advancements are posted but saved for supervisor and management favorites leaving superior workers overlooked and bitter. The strong employees have to carry the weak employees on their backs, instead of ridding the company of weak team members we just keep them around to fill positions causing our stronger employees to quit from the burden of carrying the worthless.
