Pros

Amazing benefits and wellness programs. Probably the best I've seen so far - they (used to) really go the extra mile to take care of their employees.

Cons

A lot of management changes have happened in the last year. This has led to a drastic shift in the overall culture of the organization and has added a layer of opacity between the managers and other employees. Internal politics previously didn't exist but seems to be picking up.

Pros

Some of the benefits are top notch. Work from home stipend, wellness stipend, good insurance, 401k match, remote work Direct managers also really care about your development and career growth even if it falls outside of your department. They are happy to facilitate conversations with other teams. It also is a very collaborative environment where you genuinely feel like you have a team that wants to help and provide assistance where needed.

Cons

Compensation isn’t great. Definitely lower than what you would expect in the industry. They also claimed time and time again that pay transparency was going to improve but there always seemed to be a delay on this and never rolled out. The company just went through a second round of layoffs in one year and there doesn’t seem to be light at the end of the tunnel. There’s a lot of uncertainty amongst teams and it has caused morale to drop even lower than what it already was after the summer round of layoffs in 2023. The product itself is also a “nice to have” and marketing teams are quickly slashing G2 from their budgets. New products being created by G2 just seem like weak attempts to find new sources of revenue with not much optimism.
