Pros
Whilst the pay is not great, even at a "busy" court you still spend much of the day socialising with your colleagues whilst on duty. At quiet venues, you're essentially being paid simply to be present.
Cons
The quality of CSOs hired is severely limited by the Court Services Victoria requirement for CSOs to hold a Private Security Individual Licence.
