GAF is the textbook example on how to tank employee morale. Take a walk around the office and it is full of stressed out, burnt out, fed up employees. We continue to do our work at a high level without any concern from top leadership. 3% raises are not keeping up with inflation. Movement is limited within the company. The move to 4:1 (or 7:0 if it were up to the outgoing and incoming CEO’s) is further limiting any semblance of work life balance. People are unhappy and it shows, and it’s not just the lower level employees who are fed up.
Unfortunately the economy and job market are not favorable to find a new and comparable job so people are staying.
