GAMA Healthcare is a passionate company driven by evidence to make a difference by preventing infections with their innovative products, resources and support. The people are likeminded, embodying the company values everyday in everything we do. Work/life balance is encouraged with amazing supportive programs like an EAP, mental health first aid team and a wellbeing allowance. The company may be small but we are respected by our customers and partners for our products and the support we provide. Our competitors want to be us. The culture is exceptional allowing team members to share ideas, celebrate successes, provide opinions but most of all we actually like each other as humans. The leadership team is exactly that - leaders. They lead by example, offer support when needed and are directive when appropriate. The culture is unique in that anyone can reach out to the owners or anyone else in the business without reprisal. It is open, welcoming and fun but GAMA Healthcare is a fussy employer. The expectations are high but the reward and satisfaction felt are worth it. Throughout my time there has been changes and restructures that were necessary. While these were uncomfortable (I was directly affected), they were dealt with in a compassionate way offering opportunities for redeployment where possible. The opportunities for career development are there but limited depending on location. However, there are global projects and innovative programs offering skill development should a team member be open to these. I urge anyone reading negative reviews of GAMA Healthcare to speak with someone who currently works there. You never know why someone left the business…
