Stuck in the past - Assistant Controller GCR Employee Review

Personally, I think GCR is a great company to work for. As many know, its never easy to be in the staffing industry, there will always be a customer that is unhappy with their service. However, there were more customers that were more than happy with the jobs/pay and benefits GCR has to offer than those that are not. GCR cares about their employees and their customers, they are always willing to help someone who is genuinely looking for work and actually care enough to check up on them after they are in the position, which most staffing agencies do not offer that kind of customer service. They also care about placing folks in the right positions, which again, many staffing companies could care less and just want the $. GCR is not like other agencies, they have a great team behind them that will bend over backwards for their customers.

There are always cons to every agency. They are sometimes a little behind tech wise but other than that there is no cons that necessarily stand out. I feel like all the people that wrote reviews before me probably were repeat-offenders/slackers and that's why they gave GCR one star. I feel like a lot of people that leave these terrible reviews are just angry people in general.

There are no pros for this place.

They are not up to the times with pay scale and they are loyal to there clients (only). The pay you a low wage and your worth is more than you know it. They have a 20-30% mark up on you and take a cut of your pay from you. They’re not up to times with technology as of recording your hours as like other companies are. Recruiting will cut you down on what you are really worth. This is how they market you to there clients. They have a very bad reputation for not standing by their workers. You should look the other way with this unethical placement agency. They are all cons at this place
