      Pros

      GE has almost infinite resources. Pretty good information exchange among the entire company. Pay rates are competitive. Very good physical environment.

      Cons

      Seniority is detrimental to your job security. No respect or tolerance of any opinions not generated by management. Either drink the "cool-aid" or look for employment elsewhere. If your not into cronyism you will be overlooked.

      -Easy internal transfers to learn new components of the engines -Good benefits and hybrid schedule -Ability to travel -Ability to move between engineering groups during downturns on projects

      Cons

      -High attrition and turn over rate for experienced engineers and managers due to company needs in different sections -Lack of access to mentors -Movement towards outsourcing of roles to out of country (USA) -Depending on role, you will be working extra hours and weekends to meet delivery
