Pros
Interesting work with dedicated professionals who are/were able to move mountains (of freight) at a moment's notice. I miss the camaraderie of the teamwork.
Cons
Little or no pay increases, even for superior performing employees; little or no chance of promotion-- what few promotions were available went to the French candidates (it's a French company); ungodly work hours, no favorable work-life balance.
