GL Solutions' vision is inspiring. The company remains true to its original vision of helping government agencies protect the public, after doing so for the past 20 years. In doing so, GL Solutions also provides solid career paths for many. Almost ten years ago, I started here at entry-level (as do most employees) and found my work to be productive for clients, coworkers, and myself -- all working towards the same goals. The company offers career paths with many growth opportunities for successful employees. Employees can even earn a four-week sabbatical after five years of employment, and incentives are available in most roles to help define and reward success. GL Solutions provides opportunities for advancement, as well as for personal and professional growth, while offering meaningful and impactful work.
Cons
Government and technology are both complex, so the work tends to be challenging, even though it is increasingly documented and directed. There is usually some hard work to be done, and personal and professional growth are required to meet the needs within our teams. This includes some amount of conflict to help our teams be and do our best. Do it for an engaging career, but not an easy job. If this sounds like a con to you, GL Solutions probably isn't for you.
