Pros

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT, and one such gesture that truly stands out at GLOMACS is the celebration of employees' birthdays. As an employee of GLOMACS, I couldn't help but notice the thoughtful gesture of celebrating birthdays within the organization. This seemingly small act has a significant impact on employee morale and demonstrates the company's commitment to creating a positive work environment. Recognizing and celebrating birthdays shows that GLOMACS values each employee as an individual, fostering a positive work environment and boosting team spirit. Birthdays are personal milestones, and by acknowledging them, GLOMACS actively engages with employees, making them feel appreciated and valued within the company. Birthday celebrations bring colleagues together, encouraging social interactions and strengthening interpersonal relationships, leading to a tighter-knit and more supportive work community. By acknowledging and celebrating employees' birthdays, GLOMACS demonstrates that they care about their staff on a personal level, which can contribute to increased job satisfaction and loyalty.

Cons

Some employees may prefer to keep their birthdays private. It's important to respect their wishes and offer alternative ways to recognize and appreciate them without compromising their privacy.

Pros

Opportunities to deliver interesting training topics.

Cons

Contracts cancelled at short notice without adequate notice. Unrealistic deadlines for course writing and development. No payment offered for substantial course development work. Weak internal processes and inconsistent communication. Concerns regarding clarity of licensing and intellectual property use. Persistent delays in contractor payments. I have been owed £12,000 for multiple months and still have not received payment.
