Pros

There's midweek baked beans and potatoes. You get to juggle working on a wide range of charity fundraising.

Cons

Where do I start...despite the words 'stir the soul' plastered all over the place, it feels like a soulless factory for ideas. Never have I been somewhere where there's zero time on any project. We're constantly told to squeeze deadlines and pile more work on the creative team. Everyone both in CS and creative look dead inside, waiting for a moment to escape this depressing, stressful agency. Recently great people are starting to leave from the creative side. For years this was a strong team and the CS side took the brunt of most client clashes, but since certain individuals have joined the work environment has only gotten worse and worse. There's no culture, no happiness and constant stress.

Pros

Countless talented people, and a life lesson in how leadership styles can affect morale, culture and performance.

Cons

Once a great place to work, Good is now in significant decline. Key clients have left. The briefs have got smaller. And more and more top performers have either moved on, resigned or been made redundant. Some, in mine and others’ views, on thinly-veiled personal grounds. Awkward, abrasive leadership in one department has done huge damage. Where there was once trust, creativity and growth, there is now control, blame and apathy. This has played a big part in where things now appear to be heading.

Pros

Genuinely good at the core and longest established in the business. talented people there getting through turbulent times. Work is genuinely getting better with better briefs. Clout to turn stuff down when they want - and they do.

Cons

There's been a lot of change with redundancies and many staff hanging on working notice periods has created a toxic environment. Should get better when they are gone but tricky living through that.
