Pros

Solid hands-on experience in semiconductor testing and debugging Exposure to real production and client-driven challenges Opportunity to develop problem-solving and leadership skills Fast-paced environment that builds adaptability

Cons

They do not remit mandatory benefits - SSS, Pag-ibig, PhilHealth even if it is deducted on salary Little to no salary increase Project timelines are often unrealistic or not aligned with actual conditions resulting to poor product quality Pressure from tight timelines tends to fall heavily on technicians, engineers, and designers Lack of standardized and well-defined processes despite years on company Resource constraints (no tools, old items, out to date equipments) affecting execution

Pros

The coworkers are friendly, cooperative, and easy to get along with.

Cons

The main issue lies in the boss’s behavior and management style. Despite promising proper training before any deployment, my experience as a new employee, I was immediately pushed into projects under the excuse of urgency. Work is often handled one-on-one due to few employee without technical guidance, making it stressful and confusing. Self learning is good but you should have at least a senior who you can throw ideas at, not just saying "use ai or search it in the internet because it is already defined there". The boss tends to demand results instantly, "we can do it in 5 minutes" who the hell makes a development of a complex system within minutes there should be QA testing debugging and all sort of stuff.. Often dismisses discussions about feasibility. He frequently references AI tools as shortcuts instead of supporting proper development and testing. So basically the boss acts like an expert but rarely provides meaningful technical feedback. Most of his “solutions” come directly from ChatGPT There’s also pressure to produce code before the actual components arrive, which makes testing impractical and leads to frustration. Using temporary or arbitrary data for testing is criticized, even when no real data is provided when the data should come from their designated project. Worse, there were instances I were encouraged to use cracked software for training, which raises ethical and legal concerns.
