Pros
The company is laid back and lets you do your job without micromanaging. HR is absolutely wonderful. Best HR person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Bonus at Christmas, small but still nice. Some are able to telework and that is great.
Cons
They do not listen when employees complain about mid line managers not knowing what they are doing, playing favorites, and being bad for the groups reputation. Nepotism is happening and it is losing customers, but they don't seem to care. Our group tended to hire lots of people at low rates of pay to do a job that few can accomplish easily at a decent rate of pay. But when bonuses are dependent on the # of people that work under them, they don't care. Our group had very high turn over rates. The men that were being complained about by managers for doing nothing during the day, were given raises and promotions by those same managers, while women were not being recognized for their work. If you can play a round of golf, you can get promoted. Moving up in the company is very hard to do. Raises don't come often.
