      Incompetent GM is destroying company - Operations Supervisor GSC Foundries Employee Review

      Pros

      You get a pay check weekly. Excellent employees that have a lot of heart and want to make a change.

      Cons

      The GM tries to run the company from an excel sheet. The employees and management really have no morale & the company is falling apart. The GM is trying so hard to micro manage the company that of course everyone fails to meet deadlines because they need permission for the even the slightest change. The facility is in disrepair and OSHA and EPA are trying to shut this place down constantly. The pay is is low entry level and don't expect that to change no lone gets above a 2% raise. No one stays here that long it's a great place to stay until you can find another job that has stability.

      Pros

      Many reviews seem to be biased negatively, I for one choose to see the positive with my employer. GSC, in my opinion, is headed the correct direction with a Management Team that appears to be "all in" with regards to success, customer satisfaction, morale improvement, Safety, and employee satisfaction. While GSC appears (prior to my time) to have seen some ups and downs with regards to the Management Team, I for one believe they are doing the right things to make GSC successful again.

      Cons

      I believe the single largest con in any company is communication, period. GSC is no different though the communication, during my tenure, has improved drastically and continues to be a focus.
