Pros

Free lunches on Fridays Sent me to a 3 day course on shipping dangerous goods Outside sales people would occasionally visit who were very friendly

Cons

Extremely long days (10-11 hours average) and workweeks with no paid overtime Operations agents were very understaffed and received no help from upper management Ops agents expected to handle all warehouse duties on top of a ridiculous office workload Stressful environment with zero tolerance for mistakes

Pros

Excellent company to work for, Management is super understanding and the hybrid schedule makes work life balance great. Very generous with PTO and I learned a lot in a short amount of time.

Cons

The work can seem overwhelming at first but once you understand the industry and procedures it becomes second nature.

Pros

I thoroughly enjoy working at GTS Group. I love the work environment and they promote from within, so although it’s a small company, there is ample room for growth. Those who work hard are recognized and rewarded with generous raises, bonuses and extra vacation days. The CEO genuinely cares about his employees and attends to those who show interest in the company. Healthcare coverage is good and barely costs anything – there’s also 401K matching and free lunch on Fridays. A recent management change has improved the atmosphere tremendously as far as collaboration, communication, training and a strong team environment. New ideas and changes are encouraged and quickly implemented. We are constantly and collectively improving the company. Within the last year, we started biweekly remote working schedules and received new IT equipment for both our home and office work environments, which has benefited the operations team immensely. Overall, it is a great place to work. It’s also a great industry as you get to learn a lot about a variety of different things, constantly problem solve and communicate with people all over the world.

Cons

There are busy spurts throughout the year where it might not always be an eight hour day, however, everything can be done remotely and we’re able to leave early sometimes during the slower seasons.
