Pros

In the past there were pros. But not anymore.

Cons

In the last 12 months there have been 3 bigs rounds of redundancies, which have been handled terribly. Each wave of redundancies has followed a huge hiring surge - literally hire then fire mentality. Senior Leaders are also put in position, they meddle with the way the company is run in a negative way and then they are also fired. The company is increasingly only focussed on AI and is making staff work around the clock to create a product which will clearly put more jobs at risk. The culture is dead. The money is terrible - way below market rate. They are clearly trying to get into a position to sell the business...but if they carry on at this rate there may not be a business to sell!!

Pros

Great place to gain valuable professional experience, work with well-known brands, and develop skills that are highly transferable to future roles.

Cons

The GWI I joined and the GWI I left felt like two very different companies. Over the years, the culture declined significantly, and many teams became increasingly disconnected. Collaboration was often difficult, and some colleagues displayed entitled and unprofessional behavior that made the work environment challenging. Career growth opportunities were limited, and compensation did not always reflect the responsibilities and expectations placed on employees. In recent years, leadership appeared heavily focused on AI initiatives and cost-cutting measures, which created uncertainty and negatively impacted morale. Frequent layoffs and restructures made many employees feel undervalued and replaceable. While I gained valuable experience and worked with some talented individuals, I would encourage leadership to invest more in employee development, culture, and transparency.
