      Pros

      Used to be la creme de la creme of consulting companies in the Oil&Gas industry. Great technical experts to work with and you can learn a lot. Simple organisational structure, global outreach and massive reputation

      Cons

      Since the full take over of Baker Hughes in Jan 2025, it has totally phagocyted this consulting division. Massive change of management and restructuring of regional offices, which has lead to people leaving or being made redundant. Not sure if GC will continue to deliver the same level of services under BH.

      Pros

      Opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects around the world. Very nice people to work with. Company is well recognized with excellent reputation.

      Cons

      Project volume has been very unpredictable in the past couple of years with unnerving long periods without work followed by having to work crazy hours.
