Teams overall fight for attention and favors. Siloes and politics are everywhere. The chain of command exclusively top-down, where subordinates are purely executioners, micro-managed by top management, and have no chance of providing feedback or bring initiatives. As a manager, the best survival skill to possess is finger pointing at your subordinates or other teams. This results in massive delays projects, inefficiencies at every level, and demotivation.
