Pros

I took this job with no sales experience. I had an amazing general manager who taught me a lot. I also liked the independence, you're alone most of the time.

Cons

You have to do a ton of cold calling and plan out your route with all your stops the night before, which takes up a lot of time. None of the customers actually want to meet with you so it's like pulling teeth trying to set up an appointment. Lots of stress

Pros

Good benefits, base plus commission so if you want more money you sell more. You get what you put in. Flexible schedule. Family type environment. Tools provided to provide great service, samples, no charge credit for us to allocate as needed to assist our customers.

Cons

I really don’t have any cons, after having my own businesses I think the ecxpectations are attainable.

Pros

Thorough training and onboarding, nice manager

Cons

Super low pay for job itself, commissions are low & and only are dispersed when product ships (which could be months), not autonomous, micromanaged, dress code of not wearing nice jeans didn’t make sense (meeting with retail stores not doctors), hand had to pay for iPad monthly insurance fee. I’ve had sales positions in the past and never had to pay any fees on equipment.
