Pros

50% off discount, dress code relaxed (if it was garage then you could wear it) , made friends because you trauma bonded, someone was always quitting so you had room to grow but only about once or twice.

Cons

very low pay for the position (only $17/hour), hours got cut even as a manger during slow times or if upper management did not like you, a lot of favoritism, managers forced associates to wear only garage and never gave any gift cards or free clothes to do that so associates got sent home if they didn't have on garage(not in the handbook), managers showed up late all the time on opening shifts and would have associates waiting outside on them and would not fix their time, let their favorite associates and manager off during holidays, customer service is heavily pushed to the point of your hours being a reflection of how well you can convince a customer to purchase something in the fitting room or on the sales floor, managers had you basically force guess to give their emails to you by telling guess they can't purchase without an email, very high turn over rate because associates and managers do not get treated right, would not recommend unless you just want a discount and to work twice a week (associates only get paid $12-$13), only can grow if someone quit, and corporate is very very rude and nasty during their visits(have yelled at and told associates to shut up talking to them before)

Pros

50% discount Trendy product and brand image

Cons

Strict policies that don’t always reflect real store conditions Little job security, employees may be let go without much notice Employees going through personal or medical situations may not always feel fully supported Accountability isn’t always applied evenly across the team Favoritism/cliquey culture depending Heavy camera monitoring creates a feeling of being constantly watched Low and inconsistent hours for sales associates High-pressure visual standards with frequent changes Online order fulfillment and shipping demands can be excessive for the level of staffing Music is way too loud at the store. There is no way to tweak the volume which can be overwhelming for not only employees but customers RFID and theft are heavily emphasized and often blamed on staff, yet the store doesn’t consistently use standard security systems like EAS alarms on tagged items
