Pros

Friendly staff. Occassional free lunch.

Cons

Founding member Diana Rose micromanages this place into the ground by constantly changing the mission and redirecting projects. There is a defeatist attitude among long-term employees (there are few); the remaining staff rotates through on a regular basis. This is a badly-managed non-profit that should generally be avoided if you rely on a steady paycheck.

Pros

The people were all really dedicated, kind, and really fostered a community. The grounds are lovely as well!

Cons

There's a lot of walking, and stairs to get to the cafeteria! Don't wear heels until you know your way around.

Pros

I worked there over ten years ago but it was fun and really interesting. We go to participate in workshops and hear speakers. There were opportunities to work on the program side and the retreat side.

Cons

Top management changed direction of the programs often, This led to some programs starting and stopping without much warning. There was some employee turnover. Pay wasn't great.
