Pros

-Coworkers are the best aspect of the job -Very flexible with work hours and time off requests -Higher pay than the rest of the store

Cons

-Awful management from the top down to the supervisor, management could care less about geek squad until they have to because they are getting yelled at by district. -The wage ($11) does not remotely equal the amount of work and effort you put in -Expected to perform 4 completely separate jobs (open box, client computers, client service, sales)all at the same time and have it all done by the end of the night for ($11/hr) -If you are an excellent worker but lack on sales because you work odd (mostly) closing shifts and are meeting the goal you get hounded everyday and denied job opportunities for advancement even if you are qualified. -no sense of appreciation from any level of management whether its the supervisor or the GM of the store, they care more about the sales floor than geek squad.

Pros

Perfect entry position for basic IT skills and experience. Learned a lot. Good coworkers and direct manager. Provided skills needed to move on to a better position elsewhere.

Cons

High expectations paired with low wages. No room for growth unless you’re aiming for management. More retail, sales, insurance, and customer service than actual IT.
