Great people and growth mindset, but challenging systems - Assurance Senior Geffen Mesher Employee Review

A well established firm that recently celebrated it's 90th anniversary. Amazing people at all levels with leadership that listens to its people and stands for the development of all.

It is public accounting and it is a profession that isn't for everyone. With that said, Geffen Mesher was my first choice as I was going through the recruiting process and I am happy with that decision.

I was a lateral hire from a local accounting firm and recently started working at GMCO in January 2025. Based on my experience so far, I have nothing but great things to say about what GMCO has to offer! First, I like the new hybrid work policy where employees are required to work in-office three days a week (preferably T-TH). This provides me with the flexibility to work remotely if I want to on Mondays and Fridays, and when in-office, help me put a face to a name, build deeper relationships with my coworkers, and get a feel for what the corporate office environment. Everyone I have met at GMCO has been extremely supportive towards my want to learn and take on new growth opportunities within the firm.
