      Pros

      Some really decent, smart people work at the firm. The office is nice and located in downtown Portland. Close to restaurants.

      Cons

      If you are a man and don't mind being screamed at and called a stupid idiot by a shareholder in the middle of cubicles, you can be successful. Otherwise, I would not suggest working for the firm.

      Pros

      A well established firm that recently celebrated it's 90th anniversary. Amazing people at all levels with leadership that listens to its people and stands for the development of all.

      Cons

      It is public accounting and it is a profession that isn't for everyone. With that said, Geffen Mesher was my first choice as I was going through the recruiting process and I am happy with that decision.
