Pros

had some great people great products but wow what a terrible negativity hanging over your head at all times.

Cons

wow where to start, old culture old buildings but never saw more infighting among vp's then at generac . talk about one backstabbing another. I was fired after being told by my vp that the buyer of acct didn't like me so they let me go. turns out buyer never said that. then again my vp still to this day was literally the most unprofessional person I have ever met. better yet our two biggest accts doing almost 100M forbid him from ever attending any meeting yet we couldn't tell him that. my last yr our goal was 45 M, we did 46M. about 3 yrs ago business was down to 23 M so no telling what its at today. thx for letting me go paying me a good severance while I was interviewing on the side anyway, thx for letting me go and saving yourself the 135K I was making, now I will make close to 200k with no stress at all and working for a family first co who has blown away its corp numbers each of the 5 yrs I have been there, talk about going from the outhouse to the penthouse.

Pros

No background checks. Good for people needing a job quickly.

Cons

Where to start? Poor leadership on all levels. A bunch of talk about quality and the customer but are happy pushing out inferior product and dealing with it later, but then blame all the workers (via no quarterly bonus due to impossible metrics they have little/ no control over) instead of correcting the workers responsible. They are SO CHEAP. Cheap in pay, cheap in providing what employees need in a timely manner or if ever, cheap in benefits, cheap all the way around. They want drones, not humans. Very high turnover rate. A lot of promises and little follow up. If you sign up for the annual company picnic and cant make it, they take money directly out of your check for each person signed up to go. Poor training. Reactive, not proactive.
