Pros

New Product Development, many nice coworkers, decent benefits, labs. Buildings are very nice & well kept. Name recognition with future employers. If u need larger company experience, expect 2-3 years of growth.

Cons

A culture of no reward for results that’s gotten worse with poor business outlook. Bonuses actually can be zero, raises under 2%. Execs drive cross functional teams against each other to meet metrics that don’t meet up; I.e. cost vs development vs time. Lots of finger pointing & CYA. Cost centric products without sourcing or manufacturing differentiation for industrial vs residential end markets. HR, Assembly & Sourcing turnover extreme. Execs can be a bit toxic, don’t expect any positive feedback. Can be tough to keep a positive face on for your employees.

No background checks. Good for people needing a job quickly.

Cons

Where to start? Poor leadership on all levels. A bunch of talk about quality and the customer but are happy pushing out inferior product and dealing with it later, but then blame all the workers (via no quarterly bonus due to impossible metrics they have little/ no control over) instead of correcting the workers responsible. They are SO CHEAP. Cheap in pay, cheap in providing what employees need in a timely manner or if ever, cheap in benefits, cheap all the way around. They want drones, not humans. Very high turnover rate. A lot of promises and little follow up. If you sign up for the annual company picnic and cant make it, they take money directly out of your check for each person signed up to go. Poor training. Reactive, not proactive.
