Pros

Leadership is deliberate and creative when holding all hands meetings or other events. Employee Resource Groups are Excellent. They are a great way to get to know people and support the groups. GDIT cares about the well-being of its employees and has great tools that are free of charge to help get you on track with whatever it is, health and other assistance, and Leadership courses. Lots of On-line courses to help you manage or get certified in an IT area the company needs to support customers. Internal mobility is encouraged. There is a group dedicated to this area.
Cons
Some of the systems create a Stove Pipe blockage. At times it is difficult to get the information needed. Most people are willing to help you get what you need, so that is a positive when dealing with this aspect. When there is an important project or deadline, expect to work hard and more than 40 hours. This isn't any different from other companies. You just need to take care of your self, and manage your work/life balance when this occurs. On the flip side, leadership is aware of your efforts and does appreciate them.
