Pros
Hybrid, good work life balance
Cons
The organization is suffering from a disparity between an aging and shrinking senior engineer team and the upcoming younger talent who aren’t trained well. Productivity is fairly low and pretty much all non trivial tasks always require senior supervision/guidance. While most employees are not contract based, the organization is. And it is getting increasingly difficult to land contracts due to the technology, tools and languages used being outdated compared to industry. So you are indirectly a contract worker. The lack of contracts is reflected in the wages, as they are well below industry standards. Base wages are low, the typical percentage bonus pay based on performance/company performance doesn’t exist here, and the pension is poor too. Keep applying elsewhere.
