Pros
Understandable when you need to miss for appointments for yourself or immediate family, even not immediate family. Like a family (goes above and beyond a work family). Team work allows everyone to accomplish your goal. Goes above what an employer does Company/Bosses understands life happens and works with you
Cons
Jokes that are played if goes too far, nothing done. Favorites and laugh it off as that's just them being them. Can't lose an employee so no choice but to work in uncomfortable work environment. Work environment tense and when addressed no plan of action for easier flow or to help employees be at comfort coming to work versus dreading due to upset employee
