Pros

They had many projects coming in, which was great for staying busy at work.

Cons

Going into work reminded me of High School. It felt like a toxic environment and I am glad I left.

Pros

If you like golf, overpriced IPAs and miss your fraternity days in college, you’ll fit right in. A hybrid schedule is possible if you are in the right department, role, and project.

Cons

Firstly, for any recent college graduates or individuals looking for internships, this company is a great place to start, and then expeditiously leave. It is the definition of a recession indicator, positions are arbitrarily created and eliminated to fit the needs of upper management. So many times, I watched quality employees lose their job so somebody else’s underwhelming relative or friend could maintain theirs. This company is rife with nepotism and will defend its inner circle at the expense of quality work or employee retention. On the topic of quality work, different departments procure work at different rates, and because of this have different quality and standard of work. There is no standardization across the company between departments, interdepartmental communication is virtually nonexistent. You will receive a negligible amount of training, if any at all, before being placed in a client facing role. They will expect you to perform as if you have years of experience without so much as giving you a singular coaching conversation. This kind of practice goes beyond a “sink or swim“ attitude and approaches irresponsibility due to the nature of the work. During my time, they also switched insurances multiple times. I had to find a new primary physician just for them to switch back to an insurance that my old one took a year later. This company is also a bit self-aggrandizing with its accolades. They are not a particularly well-known company in their industry, despite what they will tell you. I will say, despite it all, there are a number of really incredible people there. Some of the coolest people I’ve ever worked with, individuals who are experts at what they do. But that doesn’t change the fact that this company is owned and operated by people who are more concerned with lining their pockets than they are the quality and integrity of the work that they do. Which is concerning, considering the industry that they’ve chosen to work in. This place is rough if you aren’t exactly the type of person meant to sit around and self-aggrandize while playing with a mini golf putter in a construction trailer on-site for a client you’re over-billing and under-performing for. Something I witnessed early in my career here. Wild thing to see.
