Pros

- If you communicate concerns, upper staff will listen - Strong comradery among staff - Variety of local government projects (parcel, utility, parks and rec, web GIS, automation, integrations, field collection/drone) - Remote - Somewhat flexible schedule - Opportunities for trainings - Some travel (if interested) - Consistent raises - Recent complaints and concerns have been heard and improvements are happening - Overall, the client relationships are great and are repeat so you can become invested with customers and their organization

Cons

- Can be disorganized, depends on the PM - Can be hard to find resources from past projects (see first bullet) - Being billable is priority. Expected at most/all consulting firms - Remote if not in Raleigh - Little opportunity for conferences/meet ups - Technicians can get stuck if they do not go above and beyond their duties

Thanks for the feedback. It is very helpful as we continue to grow and evolve. It is great to hear that communication lines are doing well. Thanks for the tip on the need for better archiving of projects. We will work on that in 2023!!!

Pros

Great group of folks ready to help.

Cons

Ownership decided I had to come in at 5 AM my time every day. Not what we agreed upon. Then they spent a week scheduling meetings with me at 4:30 AM my time.
