      Pros

      Small firm allows you to get experience in all facets of the architecture practice. Able to lead project meetings with clients; give presentations at municipal board meetings; work with code officials, building inspectors and plans examiners; work on all phases of project design and construction drawings; and visit construction sites for progress inspections.

      Cons

      Some may feel projects are “small” but this allows a great opportunity to be hands on and learn all facets of the job rather than being pigeonholed into only doing small details and not getting out of the office.

      Hands on learning, Work closely with Architect, Room to grow, Great office and feild relationship, Get to see projects from start to finish, Always something new to learn, Get to attend board meetings and client meeting to learn how to handle situations which come in handy if you intend to own your own firm, Perfect if you are interested in residential and small commercial architecture

      Cons

      Some may not like the small firm business but I love it. Allows me to experience all aspects of the architecture feild
