Pros
Leave benefits are a significant plus. Annual leave accrues quickly, I have more sick leave than I feel like I need, and the university closure during winter break is wonderful for family time.
Cons
There is significant burnout due to limited staffing resources and reduced hiring. High performing teams are limited in what they can accomplish because of resource constraints.
