      Pros

      Interesting projects, great career starter, and a nice office. Travel to a lot of desolate places and get to work hard.

      Cons

      Always at the expense of the little guy. Profits are straight to the owners pockets and not invested in the company. The original employees who help built the logo all ran for the hills. No one well known in the industry work for the company. Micro-managed by owners, disorganized, unclear directions for staff, late on deadlines, horrible work atmosphere, and looking to just make a profit rather than quality of work.

      We believe all feedback is valuable and appreciate the opportunity to consider how we approach our business. Over the past few years, we have made changes to improve the employee experience, such as a standardized compensation clearly defined career paths. We have redefined roles based on individual strengths and have started surveying employees to solicit more feedback and continue to find ways to increase job satisfaction.

      Pros

      This is a business that takes care of its staff. Management allows a lot of flexibility for their staff and is always supportive professionally. I always look forward to walking into the office and working with this team on a daily basis.

      Cons

      There really is no downside to working at Geoscience. Management is always available to talk if there are any issues, and will work with you to find a solution.
