Pros

Super entrepreneurial environment that promotes independent ideas and innovative thinking. Wear multiple hats, support for new ideas from Exec's, no micromanegement, outstanding team, super exciting industry with TOP global brands in ecommerce, travel etc partnering on huge projects for China. Massive daily payments education and learning related to international payments, oppy to create break-out products and solutions. Company solutions are in demand globally and especially in US

Cons

Difficulty in executing the innovation in terms of operational and product support and developement and many projects impeded and growth hindered by regulations in China. Need to drastically beef up the technology, IT (Developers etc), OPS, Marketing and Product and project managers and the company will take off with huge growth.

Pros

Geoswift is a wonderful place to work. The environment is both entrepreneurial and supportive. All resources are readily available, including executive support, to help build the US division quickly and in a very stable fashion, which is very refreshing. Our CEO, Raymond Qu, is particularly forward thinking, driven and easy to work with both with employees and customers. Raymond is extremely knowledgeable and connected in China, and brings true expertise in every area, including payments, regulations, political landscape etc... in China, and also has a real win-win attitude with customers and partners. No micro managing here. Execs let employees use their own expertise and trust the best work will get done. The team has many years of experience in payments and trusts each other so there are no internal politics. I have never worked in a more "mature" work environment even though it is new in the US. The actual service is also great to sell. It is a niche solution, but incredibly valuable and very difficult to replicate due to regulatory issues. Overall, this is one of my best work experiences in my 15 years working in the industry.

Cons

So far I have not encountered any cons. Working globally there are always challenges with time zones, language etc... but nothing too difficult.
