      Pros

      Interesting and fast paced. Gerdau really makes an effort to give their employees great perks.

      Cons

      The melt shop is a dangerous place. You can get get hurt but Gerdau has a weeks long training program to ensure you are aware and using safe practices!

      Pros

      Great summer experience, workers are great and willing to teach about steel making. Great place to learn about the real manufacturing industry and gain hands-on experience.

      Cons

      It's a little far from Richmond, and it is not the cleanest environment.
