Decent Starting Pay but Lacking in Benefits - Pharmacist Geriscript Pharmacy Employee Review

Pros

Decent starting pay. Approachable friendly staff willing to help with training. Multiple departments to learn to ward off boredom. Intermittent opportunities to rack up some extra overtime hours. Hours given to work can be adjustable making scheduling favorable. Facility cleaned and well maintained frequently. The more favorable work stations are typically based on length of time you have worked with the company so you could transition from something more work intensive to a station that is less strenuous with a year or two of experience.

Cons

Benefits are minimal with no retirements plans being an example. Rewards for hard work are seemingly unnoticed. High volume of incoming calls can often times be unevenly distributed between who decides to pick up and who doesn't (almost a free for all).

Pros

The only good thing here are the Pharmacists, they are truly wonderful! They really try to offset the toxicity put in place by management.

Cons

Management is where the company completely goes wrong. If you don't indulge in the gossip and personal vendettas, you will become the target. And don't even for a second think being a good worker will get you far here. It won't it will actually put a huge target on your back. This company rewards and glorifies the bare minimum workers and punishes the hard workers. They will purposely undertrain you and purposely understaff shifts to make themselves feel needed. Many times you will have to work a whole shift alone due to "callouts"/planned PTO and their unwillingness to provide coverage. On site management is the most unprofessional you will ever encountered; engaging in inappropriate relationships with technicians and laughing at an employee being in a car accident. No real HR so if you file a complaint with management be prepared for nothing to be done and be prepared for that person to know exactly what was said and also be prepared to be targeted. If you want your good mental health tested and obliterated this is the job for you
