Where do I even start? Well to start, for every negative review they get, they create a new account on here and pump up their score so they stay above a 3.0. If you’re thinking about applying here, don’t. Just don’t. Most people last a year, maybe a year and a half before they either burn out or find something better. There are a few people who stick around for two or three years, but they’re the exception, not the rule. Everyone else catches on and dips. You saw an opening on LinkedIn and thought it might be a good opportunity? It’s not. That same job has been posted, removed, and reposted more times than you can count. Some of the roles they’re “hiring” for don’t even exist anymore. They laid off 25 people over the past year for “budgetary reasons” because they are completely out of money. They run on fumes, and the second things get tight, they will have no problem cutting you loose. Your job isn’t based on performance. It’s based on whether they can keep enough clients on the hook. The second that dries up, so does your paycheck. Almost everyone is miserable here but too afraid to say it out loud. SLT created a space of fear because we’re all scared we’re getting the axe next. The only ones who actually seem happy here are senior leadership because they don’t deal with any of the day to day chaos. This company is broke, but somehow, the partners always find cash for dinners and trips while everyone else is expected to survive on scraps. If you ask for better pay or more resources, you’ll get some excuse about “tight budgets.” But when leadership wants to splurge on themselves? Suddenly, there’s plenty of money to go around. They have no money to provide company issued laptops or cell phones or provide even a stipend to help you get by. 2025 is the first year we’ve had “sick days” otherwise we’re stuck using PTO. You need coverage? Don’t count on your coworkers. Everyone gets thrown under the bus at some point. They have over 100 employees but yet stuck in the start up mentality. How does that make sense? On top of that, the micromanagement here is out of control. You’ll have multiple people picking apart every little thing you do while also expecting you to figure everything out on your own (clients and leadership). If you’re a recent grad desperate for work, this is not the answer. You will work yourself into the ground for scraps. You might get the chance to work with a big-name client, but don’t get excited. The workload will crush you, and the environment will make you miserable. If you think you can climb the ladder here, think again. Hard work and talent mean nothing. The people who move up either have connections in the “Boys Club” or are considered pretty and attractive enough to keep around (if you’re not considered easy on the eyes, you won’t even get an interview). Actual talent and effort don’t matter here. Meanwhile, half the team is using ChatGPT for their projects and somehow getting away with it. And don’t fall for their “we care about our employees” act. They’ll check in, pretend to be supportive, and act like they value you, but it’s all for show. The second you actually need help, they’re gone. There’s no HR department, which means no protection, no accountability, and no one to back you up when things go sideways. The reality? This place will drain you, frustrate you, and leave you regretting every second you spent here. If you value your time, your sanity, and basic respect in the workplace, apply literally anywhere else.

We take this review extremely seriously and first and foremost encourage you to speak with our HR/Internal Ops team regarding your concerns. While we understand that every employee experience is unique, we do regret that yours has led to such frustration. We are sincerely always striving to create an environment where our employees feel valued and supported in their roles within the environment that we have worked extremely hard to build over the past eight years. While we respect and value all feedback, there are several claims in this review that are simply not accurate and we feel it is important to address them directly. We do in fact have an HR and internal operations team who are available to support employees and provide all possible resources. We do have a laptop program in place to ensure that any employee is provided with a laptop if unable to fulfill duties on personal equipment. It is also our practice to reimburse cloud storage expenses that are submitted via the outlined process. Our PTO and benefits structure is robust and competitive and we continually revisit to ensure we are supporting our employees in the ways that we can. Regarding feedback, we have anonymous feedback channels and encourage feedback in any form that you feel comfortable. If you do not feel comfortable reaching out to our HR team, we also encourage candid feedback loops with your manager/director to funnel accordingly. We are fortunate enough to be operating from a place of financial strength and stability. With that said, this takes a great deal of financial stewardship and discipline which is a collective effort across the company from the top down. Like any business in a dynamic and ever evolving industry, we must occasionally make incredibly difficult decisions when specific departments or client relationships shift. This can at times include restructuring teams or reallocating resources to ensure long term stability. These decisions are never made lightly and our priority remains strong to support our employees while positioning the company for sustained success. We encourage open dialogue and welcome constructive feedback directly so that we can always continue to improve the work environment at GE.

Cool Accounts, fun company culture

Cons

Work life balance non existent. Many professionals are straight out of college. Not an environment if you plan to have or grow a family.
