Pros
There was a lot to learn when I first joined Getir, my teammates (and my boss) were amazing people and I quickly developed a business acumen that I have yet to lose after a year and a half of being on the more technical side of things. I was able to establish deep and meaningful relationships with my teammates and working was enjoyable.
Cons
Once they started bringing in former consultants into C-level positions, things started going downhill. I get that both the founders and these people are really smart and talented, but you need to have a certain degree of professionalism (as in, not putting your sons in positions that they are vastly underqualified for) and a certain history in the company in order to not mess things up. Granted, the boost from the pandemic helped things a lot but the company also started swelling up with underqualified people in redundant positions, which caused the few people who were doing actual work to become overburdened really quickly. And management was nowhere to be seen.
