Pros

Coming to Getsafe from a tech start-up in London was not an easy decision. I had a lot of unknowns and unanswered questions about working virtually in another market, but those questions did not last long and in a few months have settled in and found endless opportunities to make an impact. Getsafe is motivated by its purpose to create positive, enduring change in the world of insurance. It's a startup guided by its values and is able to offer stability and variety. We tackle big challenges in Marketing and we’re doing it with diverse teams of amazing people all over Europe & the UK. One of the most special things about working at Getsafe is that we’re a nonhierarchical organization. The most junior people on a team are encouraged to voice their opinions, ask questions, and suggest solutions and everyone is expected to actively contribute to the overall success of the project.

Cons

Because we have big ambitions we are all busy and occasionally you need to trade-off work with your personal life. But everyone understands and your supported to find that balance.

Pros

I really like the work ethic. Problems are addressed and solved without making excuses or blaming others. The work is solution-oriented, and everyone tries to do their best. The ability to organize working hours flexibly and even work from home if necessary is a huge plus and makes the employer particularly attractive. Especially if you have a family, this flexibility makes it easier to balance family and work. I also like the collegial environment and the flat hierarchies. You can approach or write to anyone without having to pay attention to their position.

Cons

The only thing that's sometimes missing is more personal contact with some of the other colleagues. With two office locations and the option to work remotely, we often don't meet in person. Regular team events at least allow for personal exchange of work topics and personal interaction within the teams.
