Pros

I really like the work ethic. Problems are addressed and solved without making excuses or blaming others. The work is solution-oriented, and everyone tries to do their best. The ability to organize working hours flexibly and even work from home if necessary is a huge plus and makes the employer particularly attractive. Especially if you have a family, this flexibility makes it easier to balance family and work. I also like the collegial environment and the flat hierarchies. You can approach or write to anyone without having to pay attention to their position.

Cons

The only thing that's sometimes missing is more personal contact with some of the other colleagues. With two office locations and the option to work remotely, we often don't meet in person. Regular team events at least allow for personal exchange of work topics and personal interaction within the teams.

Pros

Getsafe’s vision of a modern, fully digital insurance experience is undeniably compelling, and you’ll find a number of bright, passionate engineers who genuinely care about building something new in the industry—there’s a real spirit of innovation and willingness to experiment with fresh ideas.

Cons

However, that promise quickly falters under a lack of coherent product direction and relentless internal deadline pressure. Frequent turnover in both product and engineering leadership means priorities shift every few months, teams are chronically overloaded, tech debt balloons without time to address it, and burnout is all too common—making sustainable progress feel nearly impossible.
