Pros
-The staff you work with are some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever come across -The pay is fairly competitive depending on where you fall in the tiers -Discount on gas through Giant -There is an annual bonus depending on your role and company performance which is nice.
Cons
-I am still new to the environment but there is a ton of change. I mean a TON. You are new and struggling to get your feet under you, but the job comes at you at 200mph with little to no space to breathe. -The more experienced people you work with and are learning from often forget you don't have a history with Giant and forget to take their time to walk you through and explain processes and expectations. Then you feel like a burden as a result of having to ask for instruction 2-3 times for the same process (which is over complicated to begin with) -There are essentially 4 calendars. Everything is planned with and worked from, and it's vastly overcomplicated. -There is NO PTO carryover, I have never experienced this at any of my employers. The PTO is already as limited as it can be in this market and still remain competitive, but the no carry over really is the rancid icing on the cake.
