Pros

Not fast paced but with a sense of urgency. You can do your job, as humanly possible. Lots of responsibility.

Cons

Going through changes. They need to update on experience vs pay. Payment for more experienced drivers is less than inexperienced. Very confusing.

Pros

Pays well, owner and management are very involved and personable. Gill logistics is growing and growth equals more opportunities to grow within the company. I don't ever plan on leaving.

Cons

I personally can't think of any cons. But if you don't deal with change very well, this may not be the place for you.

Pros

Pays better than most Courier competitors. Allows people with lower education and minimal skills to make a decent pay check. However, there is a catch! Keep reading

Cons

There is little to no work/life balance. While wages are higher than average for the area, many employees feel trapped—they stay because it’s difficult to find comparable pay elsewhere in Marion County. Long-term employees often remain not out of loyalty, but because they lack the skills or opportunities to transition into other roles. Hopefully, this will improve as the local job market grows. Drivers are frequently put in unsafe situations due to poor decision-making by upper management. These risks are not inherent to the job—they’re the result of choices made by leadership. The front-line staff, especially drivers, regularly go above and beyond to help patients, often at great personal risk, simply because management failed to plan or resource appropriately. Middle managers are stretched thin, expected to deliver impossible results with minimal support. In trying to meet unrealistic expectations, they often push that pressure onto their teams. Upper management presents themselves as people who care deeply about the well-being of their employees and drivers. In reality, much of what happens behind closed doors tells a very different story.
